The Gordon Utz Foundation

The Gordon Utz Foundation purpose is to support the Stratford High School community through charitable gifts and scholarships.

Our mission is to provide College Scholarships to Graduating Seniors that have shown leadership throughout their careers at Stratford. The first round of scholarships will be awarded in the Spring of 2010. We will soon provide the criteria for eligibility as well as a downloadable application with directions.

Dates for the Annual Spartan Spirit Charity Golf Tournament Benefiting The Gordon Utz Foundation have been released.

Please join us June 12^th at Wildcat Golf Club for a 8am Shotgun Start. There will be sponsorship opportunities as well as a need for Silent Auction Items. Please contact Chris Arend chris@utzfoundation.org

Please Welcome the Stratford Class of 1980 who will be having their 30yr reunion that weekend and many will be attending the Tournament.

Spartan Spirit Scholarship

Evaluation for the Annual Spartan Spirit Scholarship has been started. The award for 2010 will consist of three scholarships. One $10,000 scholarship to the student that has shown exceeded in academic achievement, leadership skills, overall work ethic and attitude. There will be a secondary prize for the runner up in the amount of $5,000 and a consolation to the third for $1,000.

Results will be announced at the SPRING GAME.
